I'm turning 3-0.....the clock ticks, tick tock tick tock....2 more hours to go and life will have changed forever! No longer will I say I am in my 20's.....everything changes. Life changes in a split second....
I distinctly remember the day I turned 20, my mom wanted to take pictures of me so that she could keep those memories........
Now I turn 30, sitting here in my apartment, wondering what happened in the past 10 yrs! Life changed so much!
I have had my share of ups and downs, highs and lows, but overall life has been a gift. The last 4yrs that I have spent with my girl were wonderful. We traveled, learned how to vibe with each other, each taught the other things that we brought with our experience....we understood how tough it was to maintain a relationship, grew close, grew apart.....fell in love, fell out of love, but overall.....no regrets....life goes on....
Sitting here today, I make myself a promise, I want to live the next year of my life to the fullest. I have dreams, I want to travel, I want to do things I had originally envisioned before I got stuck working 15hr days....
I have lost my sense of direction, my goals need to be revisited, sometimes you wonder, how can one be perfect in so many areas of life.....the answer is, you don't have to! You live and learn. You make mistakes and you move on. You maintain a journal so you write about all your days so you read them back when you get old. You need memories....
